About the job

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic tech team. You will play a crucial role in enhancing, implementing, and maintaining our data platform built on the Modern Data Stack (MDS). 

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Maintain and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and data quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data stack.
• Contribute to the development of our data strategy, participating in planning and decision-making processes.

About you:

• You have a proven track record as a Data Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing data solutions.
• Proficiency in working with the Modern Data Stack (MDS) and associated tools (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• You thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy contributing to data strategy discussions.
