Financial Controller
Join Brocc as Financial Controller: strengthen group reporting, improve finance processes and systems, and shape internal controls across our growing European business.
Brocc is a specialized niche bank embarking on a bold and transformative growth journey, fueled by strong institutional backing and a clear strategic vision. Positioned at the forefront of the European credit market, Brocc combines deep heritage in consumer finance with cutting-edge technology and a disciplined approach to balance sheet and treasury management — building a best-in-class debt finance platform that supports clients across the full credit lifecycle.
With substantial capital resources, an ambitious growth agenda, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, Brocc is uniquely placed to shape the future of the credit ecosystem. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking institution that is not only driving liquidity and resilience in the market, but contributing to greater stability and transparency across the European financial landscape.
Now, we're looking for a Financial Controller to help develop the group's financial processes and reporting structure. The role suits you if you enjoy combining quality assurance, process development, and systems work with close collaboration across the business. You'll work in an entrepreneurial environment where change is a natural part of everyday life, with real opportunities to influence how the Finance function develops going forward.
What you’ll do
As Financial Controller, you're responsible for the quality of financial information flowing from the group's international subsidiaries. You'll be a central link and key contact between the subsidiaries and Group Finance, working closely with the Group Consolidation & Reporting Specialist and Head of Accounting to ensure that reporting, processes, and systems maintain high quality and that deadlines are met. You'll work both operationally and with a development mindset, in a role with many touchpoints and real opportunities to make an impact. In practice, that means:
Ensure the quality of accounting and reporting data from all companies within the group
Coordinate and follow up with subsidiaries at every month-end close
Analyse and follow up on the parent company at every month-end close
Contribute to the development of ERP and reporting systems
Take part in month-end closing and support group reporting
Identify improvement opportunities and streamline financial processes
Take part in integration projects and help establish common ways of working
Act as a key point of contact for the business on financial matters
Contribute to developing reporting, structure, and governance within Finance
Drive the work of establishing internal control processes within Finance
Who you are
You're a confident Financial Controller – preferably with a background in auditing, who thrives in a business that's changing and evolving quickly. You enjoy building new ways of working rather than simply maintaining what already exists, and you bring a structured, solution-oriented, and down-to-earth approach to your work. More specifically, you bring:
A few years' experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller or Group Financial Controller in a fast-paced acquisition environment, with experience from an investment company or similar organization characterized by frequent acquisitions and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
Experience working within an international group
Strong systems understanding and a genuine interest in process development
Comfortable working with large data sets and financial analysis
Communicative, and thrive with many stakeholder touchpoints
Take ownership, drive your own work forward, and value collaboration
A natural drive, with a habit of taking your own initiative, motivated by creating order, quality, and efficiency
Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written
Experience with NetSuite, niche bank, fintech, or other regulated financial business is a plus

We move fast, we value people who take initiative, and we're building a credit institution that genuinely changes how consumers and counterparties experience finance.
