Regulatory Reporting Technical Analyst
Join Brocc as Regulatory Reporting Technical Analyst: own data flows for FINREP/COREP, build robust pipelines in SQL/Python, and help elevate our regulatory governance.
Brocc is a specialised financial institution embarking on a bold and transformative growth journey, fuelled by strong institutional backing and a clear strategic vision. Positioned at the forefront of the European credit market, Brocc combines deep heritage in consumer finance with cutting-edge technology, building a best-in-class credit platform that supports clients across the full credit lifecycle.
With substantial capital resources, an ambitious growth agenda, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, Brocc is uniquely placed to shape the future of the credit ecosystem. As we scale across new markets and asset classes, accurate, transparent, and well-governed regulatory reporting is central to how we operate, and to how we earn the trust of regulators, investors, and partners.
Now, we’re looking for a Regulatory Reporting Technical Analyst to join our growing Finance/Treasury team and take ownership of the data and processes behind our FINREP, COREP, and related regulatory submissions.
What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with our Regulatory Reporting Lead to strengthen the data infrastructure behind Brocc’s regulatory reporting. In practice, that means:
Map, investigate, and improve the end-to-end data flows feeding into regulatory reports such as FINREP and COREP
Build and maintain reconciliation routines linking regulatory data to accounting records and ledger balances
Develop and maintain Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading
Provide hands-on technical support to the Regulatory Reporting Lead in preparing FINREP, COREP, and other submissions
Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, and Tech to ensure source data is clearly understood and consistently applied
Contribute to documentation of data lineage and business logic, and support internal and external audit processes
Who you are
You’re comfortable working hands-on in SQL and Python, and you enjoy tracing a data problem back to its root cause. You don’t need a background in regulatory reporting — just a sharp analytical mind and the drive to make our data infrastructure better.
More specifically, you bring:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong proficiency in SQL – comfortable writing and optimising queries across large relational datasets
Strong proficiency in Python – including data manipulation (pandas), scripting, and building automated pipelines
Some experience in a data engineering, analytics, or technical analyst role is welcome – recent graduates are equally encouraged to apply
Prior experience in regulatory reporting or financial services is an advantage but not required
A structured, detail-oriented, and analytical mindset, with the ability to trace complex data issues to root cause
Comfortable working to fixed regulatory deadlines and managing competing priorities
A collaborative, proactive approach, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Why Brocc?
You’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team with real opportunities for professional growth, in a fast-growing business that’s scaling across Europe. We work with a modern technology stack — including Snowflake, Sigma, and AI tools — and you’ll have real ownership in shaping the data and reporting infrastructure as we grow.
